Competition

We have different types of jumping competitions here in Mauritius.

Internal competition 

 We have internal competitions which are taking place in our stables and only the riders in this stables are competing against each other. We have around 5 internal competitions every years and at the end we have an championship.

MESF Competition
MESF Competitions are also happening around five time every year and there is a championship also at the end of the year. The competitions are taking place in a different stable every time. As we have three stables that are taking part in competitions, the first competition will take place at the Club Hippique de Maurice, the second one at Le Centre Equestre de la Louisa and the last one at The club d'equitation du Nord.

 

 

Run/Mu

This competitions are taking place once every year at the Club Hippique de Maurice in june/july. Riders from reunion island are coming and are competiting against each stables.

World Jumping Challenge

The WJC is a huge competition happening once every year and it is our stables which is hosting it. This competition happens in lots of different countries; it means that riders from different countries are doing the exact same course and the exact same high and judges are coming from abroad to judge them.

 Riders are very involved in the competition.

Dressage competition

Dressage competition are not very famous in Mauritius as riders are much more involved in jumping.
We are doing around 2 or 3 dressage competition each year and usually there is no more than 30 participants. It is very important through because to be able to make a jumping course properly, you should be able to do a dressage test properly.
