Training

When reaching a certain level in competitions, the training is quite intense and a horse owner must ride as much as he can. A good horse must work at least one hour a day.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays we are working on dressage work. On Wednesdays we are doing jumping exercises and on Saturday mornings we are training on courses.

This was a special day at the stable!
Didier Courege, who won the golden medale
2004 in athenes gave us a lesson.

This is King Cool!
My best friends horse that I rode for her when she was abroad! He is one of the best horse in Mauritius in jumping.

Training young horse can take a long time; it depends on the horse's character. It can take a few months or even a year before being able to jump a course properly with a young horse.
With this horse, Great Masterpiece I did my first little competition after 6 months.

With my horse that I have since one year, Shoot for the Moon, I am still not doing competitions against other stables, he only did two internal competitions!
